Economic Development

The Township of Pickle Lake’s Economic Development Office

Our Economic Development Office’s mandate is “…focused on inspiring economic growth and fostering collaborative partnership for our community. Located in the heart of Northwestern Ontario, we are a key shipment point for goods and services moving between northern communities and southern city centers.  With the expansion of hydro transmission through Pickle Lake and the increase in mining exploration and development, our future is brimming with commercial prospects.  Our strategic location and lifestyle opportunities for outdoor enjoyment in combination with professional support in a safe and spirited community are among the many reasons to build and grown your business in Pickle Lake.”

This mandate was written at the outset of the establishment of the office in 2016 and it still remains relevant even during this unprecedented time of global change facing all of us due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak.

We invite you to review the regular updates available under the Newsletters & Information Tab to keep well-informed of available resources.
