Attention:

The following roads are closed due to forest fire:
• HWY 599 – Pickle Lake Road intersection (south bound)
• HWY 516

An alternate route is available for use between Pickle Lake and Mishkeegogamang via Airport Road.

MNR will be monitoring the situation and provide updates as they become available.

Please be advised that the Township Public Works department will be completing service repairs on Lakeview Crescent and Hooker Lane throughout the week (May 12-16) and that possible water disruptions as well as lane closures may occur during this time.

Please be advised that the Township Office and ServiceOntario will be closed for Victoria Day on Monday, May 19th. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 20th.

ServiceOntario offers more than 55 services online, including health card, driver’s licence, plate renewal, accessible parking permit, address change, and more.

Safe Food Handling Course

The Northwestern Health Unit is offering a Safe Food Handling Course in Pickle Lake on May 8, 2025 at the Community Hall from 9:00AM to 3:30PM.
All interested persons may contact Carolyn Hochstetler at 807-323-2152. The Course is $75.00 (Includes HST), which includes teaching, a manual, and examination. Registration must be completed by May 1 and must be given to Carolyn Hochstetler. Payment of cash or cheque will be collected on May 8, before the course begins.
