Public Notice: 2026 Municipal Election

The Township of Pickle Lake wishes to advise residents and all eligible electors that Voter Information Letters (VILs) for the upcoming 2026 Municipal Election can be expected to arrive in the mail the week of October 13, 2026.

Victoria Day Closures

Please be advised that the Township Office, Service Ontario, and the Betty Johnson Clinic will be closed on May 18th, 2026 for Victoria Day and will resume services the next day (May 19th).

ServiceOntario offers more than 55 services online, including health card, driver’s licence and licence plate renewal, address change and more.

Request for Proposals

The Township of Pickle Lake is inviting proposals from qualified planning and consulting firms to prepare a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) under Section 28 of the Planning Act. The CIP will focus on local economic development, business growth, tourism enhancement, and community revitalization, while reflecting the unique context of Ontario’s most northern incorporated municipality. Open House – Year in Review 2025

The Township of Pickle Lake invites residents and visitors to view the Year in Review 2025 Public Open House presentation and provide feedback by completing the corresponding questionnaire.

We ask that all questionnaires be submitted to the Municipal Office in person or via email by 4:00pm on Monday, January 5, 2026.
