Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Consulting Services
The Township of Pickle Lake is inviting proposals from qualified planning and consulting firms to prepare a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) under Section 28 of the Planning Act. The CIP will focus on local economic development, business growth, tourism enhancement, and community revitalization, while reflecting the unique context of Ontario’s most northern incorporated municipality.
The successful proponent will complete a Business Needs Assessment, undertake community and stakeholder consultation, develop CIP policies and incentive programs, and prepare a final Community Improvement Plan, including an implementation guide and annual review templates. The consultant will also be required to present the final CIP to Council for approval and adoption.
