Public Notice: Waste Collection

Please be advised that garbage pick-up for Canada Day (Tuesday, July 1st) will be rescheduled for the following day (Wednesday July 2nd).

As a reminder, all garbage must be contained within secure waste bags, placed inside a bin with a secure lid, and ready for collection by 08:30am. Loose cardboard must be boxed or bound.

Road Closures Due to Fire

Attention:

The following roads are closed due to forest fire:
• HWY 599 – Pickle Lake Road intersection (south bound)
• HWY 516

An alternate route is available for use between Pickle Lake and Mishkeegogamang via Airport Road.

MNR will be monitoring the situation and provide updates as they become available.
