Please be advised that the hours of operation for the Pickle Lake landfill, effective Tuesday, May 14, 2024, are as follows: Thursdays & Saturdays: 10:00am to 2:30pm. Waste collection will occur on Tuesday and Friday for both residential and commercial pick up. See post for full details.

Please be aware of the following announcements for the long weekend: We will be closed March 29th for Good Friday and April 1st for Easter Monday. Commercial garbage pickup will be moved to Thursday, March 28th due to the holiday weekend. The arena will be open for public skating on Thursday, March 28th from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, closed for Good Friday, and reopen on Saturday, March 30th. All regular services will resume on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Due to extenuating circumstances, garbage collection will change next week (February 19-23). Residential garbage pick-up will occur on Thursday, February 22 and commercial pick-up will be on Friday, February 23.

The Operating Authority, Clearford Waterworks, has completed the necessary corrective actions
and received authorization from the health unit to rescind the Precautionary Boil Water
Advisory.
Recent drinking water samples for the system have indicated that the water meets regulatory
standards.
Tap water may now be used for drinking and all other uses.
The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory that was issued to you on January 18, 2024 is now
rescinded.

The municipality is recommending to turn Aqua Flow systems and bleeder lines on and leave them running until a notice is sent out by the municipality in May 2024.
