Please be advised the Township of Pickle Lake has received an update from the Ministry of Natural Resources regarding the fire at Graveyard Lake and have provided a status update that the fire is now under control and that they continue suppression operation at this time.
Reminder to all residents to please ensure that you stay clear of the area for now.
As a reminder, there is a fire restriction in effect for the Township of Pickle Lake.

The Northwestern Health Unit is offering a Safe Food Handling Course in Pickle Lake on May 8, 2025 at the Community Hall from 9:00AM to 3:30PM.
All interested persons may contact Carolyn Hochstetler at 807-323-2152. The Course is $75.00 (Includes HST), which includes teaching, a manual, and examination. Registration must be completed by May 1 and must be given to Carolyn Hochstetler. Payment of cash or cheque will be collected on May 8, before the course begins.

Northwestern Health Unit’s dental team will be providing dental check-ups, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, tooth removals and root canals to eligible clients between Monday, January 13 and Friday, January 17 at the Betty Johnson Clinic. They will also be accepting the Canadian Dental Care Program for those who have received their cards and have been approved for coverage.
